Sleepy baby

With nothing to show to the outside world quite yet, waiting to see baby again makes me anxious! We went in for our 12 week appt and got to see and hear our little peanut. Baby is looking much more like a little human instead of a blob. He/she was upside down and sleeping at first, but after a lot of jiggling and coughing he/she woke up and did a little dance for us. All is well. The next photo shoot will be at the end of September. I am feeling a little tired, but pretty good. It has been 100+ degrees all week, but we are staying nice and cool in our lovely air-conditioned home.

12 weeks:

Mac's Summer Haircut (he looks ridiculous, but he is staying cool):

We have a peanut!

8 weeks and there is definitely a baby in there! Today was our first real doctor's appointment. We met with our fab doc and had our first ultrasound! We were very excited to see that little blob on the screen with a cute little heart beating fast. It's real now!

Time: June 2nd
Place: K and S apartment
Scene: Man is half-asleep in bed. Woman is getting ready for work (way too early in the morning). Both are anxious to find out if they will be closing on their house today. Man is awoken by his wife. Man opens his eyes to see two little (but very clear) pink lines. Both are in disbelief. Both are happy. Things are working out.
